Upon discovering widespread coral reef and anchialine pond deterioration along the west coast of Hawai’i Island, Micah Barker founded the landscaping company Bioscape Hawaii in 2011 to offer a new paradigm of resort residential landscape development focusing on stewardship of the land and natural resources of Hawai’i.
