With more than 30 years of experience in custom residential architecture, both new build and renovations, as well as boutique commercial projects, Mark Candelaria, AIA, takes inspiring living to a whole new level. Through his creative ideas and thoughtful designs, he is truly an inspiration to his clients and industry peers.

Candelaria Design Associates was formed in 1999 with the belief that the architectural design process should be creative and fun, not tedious and uninspiring.

It all began under the tutelage of George W. Christensen, FAIA, in 1982. Christensen was a well-known architect that mentored Mark from his start as a draftsman to becoming a partner with his firm. After an 18-year career heading the residential branch of the Phoenix-based firm CCBG Architects, whereby the firm grew to the fifth largest architectural practice in Phoenix, Mark decided to direct all of his time and talents towards working exclusively with residential clients.
