Woods was founded in 1977 by Sharon and Robert Woods. Together they pioneered the design-build concept with architectural design and construction, all performed by the same team. Sharon and Robert quickly built the company from the ground up into one of the most recognizable brands in Santa Fe, completing numerous award-winning projects and were featured in prominent publications such as Architectural Digest and This Old House. Sharon has designed and built hundreds of the finest homes in Santa Fe for four decades, and received Santa Fe Business Woman of the Year in 2010. Since Sharon’s retirement, Shane and Rob have grown the business with multiple award-winning homes including two Grand Hacienda winners awarded by the Santa Fe Area Homebuilders Association, winning the award for Best Craftsmanship every year since taking over the firm. They have been recognized with feature articles from Western Art and Architecture, Santa Fean, Trend and Su Casa Magazine.
