Every finishing detail of this home is focused on using old-world materials and methods to invoke a nostalgic feeling that is reminiscent of a bygone era. All of the walls and ceilings are finished in limestone plaster, while the flooring, both inside and outside on the patio, is limestone. The structure is built in true legacy fashion and is constructed as a timber-framed home, in similar fashion to building methods in Tuscany.

The roof is bonderized metal that has a comparable appearance to weathered zinc and will stand the test of the four-season weather of northwestern Montana.

The pool includes an auto cover that keeps the water temperature at a consistent 100 degrees and is completely controlled by an app on the owner’s phone. The outdoor shower is convenient to use after a day of jet skiing, swimming or boating on Flathead Lake. The dock has two slips as well as an automated rail system to securely store the watercrafts at the end of the season.

The location of this home is extremely private with nightly western sunset views of Flathead Lake and the surrounding Kootenai National Forest.
