Tristan Gary Designs is a boutique design studio based in Seattle, Washington, celebrated for designing homes that feel deeply personal and beautifully built. Guided by a philosophy of human-centered design and craftsmanship over trends, the firm partners with families and professionals to create spaces that are designed for gathering, celebration, and rest. At the helm is Tristan Gary – designer, tastemaker, and licensed general contractor. With a perspective shaped by global living and years of industry leadership, Tristan brings both creative vision and technical fluency to every project. Her rare ability to think like both designer and builder enables her to reimagine spaces from the inside out – pairing thoughtful storytelling with construction expertise. Recognized through awards, press, and speaking engagements, Tristan’s work balances imagination with precision. Homes designed around real life. Spaces meant to be lived in… and remembered.
Tristan has the ability to merge her impeccable taste with the client’s taste. She listens to vague directions in styling and turns them into reality. We just had a home built that Tristan designed. It immediately was home. Tristan was there throughout the process, answering every question. She met with us for design choices and willingly accepted our, “we don’t know, you pick” choices in some areas. We trust her judgment that much. Throughout the building process we commented, so many times, on how fortunate we were to have hired Tristan. We were impressed with her during our interview with her. That initial impression didn’t even touch the surface of her abilities. – Happy Client
