45 Architecture & Interiors
Big Sky, MT
45 Architecture & Interiors is a Bozeman-based design studio specializing in high-end custom homes, legacy retreats, and transformative remodels rooted in place and purpose. Inspired by Montana’s landscapes and lifestyle, we create homes that feel elevated yet deeply livable—bringing a sense of warmth, simplicity, and connection to the outdoors into every project.
Our residential work ranges from modern mountain homes and ranch properties to historic renovations and second homes for clients seeking timeless design over trends. From architecture and interiors to consultant coordination and quality control, we lead the process from concept through completion. While our work extends nationally, our philosophy remains distinctly Montana: thoughtful design, honest collaboration, and architecture that enhances everyday life. The result is highly personal homes that are crafted to endure, resonate with their environment, and become lasting legacies for the families who live in them.
Our experience with 45 Architecture has been flawless. 45 is exceptionally thoughtful in communication, experience, and design. We’ve felt cared for and seen since day one. The team has consistently gone the extra mile leading to several ‘surprise and delight’ moments which have really boosted the energy around the project. The team is hugely passionate about the art, psychology, sociology, and the function of architecture. They understand that some of the smallest details make the biggest difference and have been proactive in thinking about the little things. We’ve also been appreciative of 45’s acute understanding around the financial realities of bringing a project into reality. They have a strong anticipation for what stakeholders’ values, wants, and needs are in a large, commercial project, adding to an entrepreneurial partnership that’s been priceless. And finally, we’ve loved that 45 has a genuine commitment to having a positive impact on the community. They are a group of exceptional individuals who bring humanity and personality to their work. We’ve been so thrilled with our decision to work with 45 and couldn’t recommend them more highly. – Satisfied client
