Transforming its original design into a new modern and contemporary space, the result is a timeless home in an iconic neighbourhood. Throughout, the design team has made creative and efficient use of the space, starting with the entryway with its pool table and bar area that can easily be transitioned into a formal dining space. The kitchen features an artfully concealed pantry, along with an island with integrated seating to create a cohesive entertaining area.
The primary bedroom and ensuite are expansive, luxurious spaces offering breathtaking views. With its underlit lighting, a custom upholstered bed spans an entire wall and appears to be floating. Other notable features include sliding glass doors for a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor living; advanced TV lifts, a hidden-door utility room and a new wine room.
To reduce energy use and costs, energy-efficiency measures are integrated throughout the house – from LED lighting and triple-pane windows to energy-efficient appliances, Navi hot water tanks and artificial turf lawns to reduce water use.
